Members of the American Gelbvieh Junior Association (AGJA) share an enjoyment for raising and showing Gelbvieh cattle.
During the National Gelbvieh and Balancer Open Show, spectators gathered around the ring may have noticed several American Gelbvieh Junior Board of Director members aiding in making sure that the show ran smoothly. These individuals not only serve as ring help for various shows, but they are also young leaders for the Gelbvieh breed.
Danielle Stock, Vice President of Leadership Development for the AGJA, hails from Waukon, Iowa. Stock is one of nine members on the AGJA Board of Directors.
“I really enjoy watching the youth grow and develop their friendships through the year,” Stock said. “It’s so fun to watch a 9-year-old participate with a 21-year-old and they all have the same amount of laughs.”
