Are you a writer, photographer, social media guru and livestock enthusiast interested in new experiences and sharpening your media coverage skills? If so, apply for the 2017 National Western Livestock Show Media Internship!
Interns will attend shows/events, write human interest stories, contribute to the NWSS Livestock blog, generate content and manage the NWSS Livestock Exhibitors social media platforms, shoot around the grounds and show ring candids. Applying students must be enrolled as a college undergraduate. Plus, a personal laptop and digital camera are required.
Two students will cover each week of the livestock show – Week 1: January 11-15 or Week 2: January 18-22. Interns will receive a $500 scholarship, lodging, some meals and experiences that simply can’t be gained in a classroom.
