A record-breaking 1,045 Herefords were entered into the 2017 NWSS National Hereford Show.
“The American Hereford Association saw another year of growth in numbers of open and junior show entries," said Katy Holdener, American Hereford Association marketing and communications coordinator. “We are excited about the dominating presence the Hereford breed has brought to the National Western stage."
Bill Conley of Clarksdale, Missouri, and his son and associate judge, Kyle Conley, of Sulphur, Oklahoma, placed the Hereford Bulls this morning.
Brandon Callis is currently sorting through the Junior Hereford Heifers. Callis, of Minco, Oklahoma, is the livestock judging coach at Redlands Community College in El Reno, Oklahoma. The heifer show is still in progress. Tune in to our social media channels to see up-to-date results.
